      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip

If you have fresh turmeric blitz one coin on speed 9 for 5 seconds - much better nutirtional benefit and flavour hit than dried. Do this step first then add all other ingreidenits and therefore omit the dried turmeric.

You can use your own chai tea mixture if you prefer. I keep a sotre bought one for such 'emergencies' as this! Skinnmyixers also have a great chai mixture if you want to make from scratch.

Coconut oil is also optional but it makes for a frothier, and fulfilling drink as makes it super creamy.

This is super yummy in particular on homemade cashew nut milk. I use the Quirky Cooking recipe for nut milk and it is a great consistency.
