      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Crush cornflakes on speed 8 for 5 sec. Set aside.

    Grate cheese on speed 10 for 5 sec. Set aside.

    Chop onion on speed 7 for 3 sec. Set aside.

     

     

  2. Prepare Basic Cookbook Bechamel Sauce as per instructions on recipe chip or on page246 of the Basic Cookbook. 

    Drain tuna and add to Bechamel Sauce. 

  3. Add peas, corn, onion and cheese to the Bechamel Sauce.

  4. Mix together on speed 4Counter-clockwise operationfor 20 secs.

     

  5. Pour into an ovenproof dish and top with cornflakes.

    Bake in oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes
