  • It takes a lot to make tuna

    Submitted by Lorainejh on 15. February 2015 - 12:36.

It takes a lot to make tuna in spring water taste delicious but this salad was really beautiful. I tweaked it a bit, added some chilli & substituted 25g of pepita/sunflower seeds instead of the sesame seeds. Mainly just to add extra iron, zinc & magnesium, but they added some nutty crunch. Well done on this recipe! Definitely a keeper.

Beautiful salad! Only change I made was substituting toasted sesame seeds with 1tsp of sesame oil.

  • I really liked this salad too

I really liked this salad too and will be making it again.  I only made the dressing in the TM and chopped the salad ingredients by hand to retain some chunkiness.  I added toasted cashews. Thanks for sharing.
