- 40g coconut oil
- 100g shallots
- 50g Laska paste, recipe on community
- 1 Coconut milk 400ml
- 200ml chicken stock
- 20g fish sauce recipe did say 40 but to salty for me
- 20g palm sugar
- 40g lime juice
- 1 lebanese cucumber sliced
- 1 cup Bean Sprouts
- 2 Spring onions sliced
- 4sprigs coriander leaf
- 1 red chilli optional
- 4 lime wedges
- 1/2 bunch pac choy
- 100g rice vermacilli, soaked in hot water and drained

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
wash and slice pac choy and remove skin from salmon place in top tray of varoma
chop shallots 2 sec/speed 5 scrape down add oil cook 2mins/120/speed 1.5
add laska paste cook further 3min/120/speed 2
add stock/ coconut milk/fish sauce/palm sugar/lime juice
place varoma in place and cook 13mins /varoma/speed one
while its cooking prepare noodles by soaking in boiling water drain split between 4 bowls add bean shoots/cucumber
check fish done add extra time if needed,adjust taste of sauce as well if you need extra fish sauce
add pac choy to each bowl and top with fish
pour soup between 4 bowls
sprinkle with coriander and spring onions
i sprinkled with chilli oil as i had no red chilli add lime wedge
