Steamed Fish and Detox Salad

  • 4 White Fish Fillets, firm
  • 3 spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 tablespoons ginger, thinly liced
  • 2 tablespoons reduced-salt soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup chicken stock
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, sliced
  • 200 grams broccoli florets
  • 100 grams green beans
  • 200 grams snap peas
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 80 grams sunflower or snowpea sprouts
  • 1 Cup Fresh Basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoons brown rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

Recipe's preparation

    Fish and salad
  1. 1. Dressing: Place basil, garlic, mustard, honey, vinegar and oil into mixing bowl and chop 5sec/ speed 7. Set aside.

    2. Place ginger, spring onion, soy sauce, sesame oil and chicken stock into mixing bowl and mix for 5 sec/ speed 7. 

    2. Cut 4x20cm squares of baking paper and place piece of fish into each square, fold up the sides and top fish with ginger, spring onion, oil and stock mix.

    3. Seal parcels and place onto Varoma, steam for 10min/ Varoma/ speed 1.

    4. Place greens into the bottom of the varoma and steam for 5min/Varoma/ speed 1.

    5. Combine vegetables and sprouts in a large bowl and pour  dressing over the vegies.

    6. Serve immediately. Enjoy.
