Apricot Chicken

  • 35g olive oil
  • 1 brown onion
  • 2 pieces of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon Moroccan or Sri Lankan Coconut seasoning

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Apricot Chicken
  1. 1. Place driend apricots in thermomix and chop on speed 7 for 8-10 seconds. Place pieces od aprict in another bowl.

     

    2.Peel and cut onion in half and place in thermomix with 2 pieces of garlic. Chop at speed 7 for 5 seconds. Add olive oil.

     

    3. Cook at 100 degrees on speed 2 for 3 minutes.

     

    4. Add the pieces of chicken, apricot nectar and seasoning into the bowl and cook at 100 degrees for ten minutes on stir. Add the reamining apricot pieces and cook for a further 5 minutes at 100 degrees on stir.

     

    5. Serve hot with rice, salad or couscous.
