Curried Sausages
- 200 g basmati rice
- 1 litre water
- 7 Beef Sausages
- 1 Large Brown Onion, peeled and halved
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 large capsicum, sliced into strips
- 25 g olive oil
- 2 tsp curry powder
- 500 g water
- 3 tsp TM stock concentrate, vege
- 3 tbsp plain flour

- 1. First, place a jug on top of the thermo lid and weigh in 500g of water. Set aside.
- 2. Cook rice separately in rice cooker.
- 3. Add 1 litre water to the TM bowl.
4. Place sausages in the Varoma dish tray. Prick each sausage 2-3 times with a sharp knife.
5. Put the Varoma into position and cook for 20 mins, Varoma temperature Speed 3.
6. Remove Varoma dish. Discard water from the TM bowl. Allow sausages to cool slightly before removing the skin & cutting to preferred size. Add to thermoserver to keep warm.
7. Add garlic to TM bowl and chop for 3 seconds, speed 5.
8. Add onions and Turbo once or twice to get chunky onion pieces (or cut by hand to your preferred size).
9. Add oil and curry powder and saute for 3 mins, Varoma temperature,
"Gentle stir setting"
10. Add capsicum slices and saute for a further 3 mins, Varmona temperature,
"Gentle stir setting"
11. Add stock concentrate and flour to the 500g of water you weighed out at the beginning. Stir until combined.
12. Add mixture of water/stock & flour to the TM bowl & cook for 10 mins, 100°C, speed 1.
13. Add curry sauce mixture to your Thermoserver with your sausages and stir through.
14. Serve with steamed rice.

To save time & to keep rice warm & fresh, cook rice in a rice cooker.
