Easy Mapo Tofu

  • 3 cloves galic
  • 30 grams pork mince
  • 500 grams tofu, firm, cut into 2cm cube
  • 1 sprigs spring onions, fine chopped
  • 5 grams oyster sauce
  • 10 grams vegetable oil
  • 1/2 level tsp sugar
  • 1 level tbsp Sichuan Pixian Bean Paste

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Chop Galic 5 sec, speed 6
  2. Add oil, minced pork, spicy bean paste to sauté 3 min/Veroma/speed soft
  3. Insert butterfly, add in tofu, oyster sauce, sugar to stir fry 5 min/Veroma/reverse/soft speed
  4. sprinkle spring onion to to taste
