Could you please tell me what the orange cubes are please looks like sweet potato but there is no sweet potato in the recipe. It also cannot be carrot asthat is chopped up. Jeanette.

Loved this and so easy to make. I didn't add the chilli as it is not our thing but everyone loved it and there was a discussion as to who was getting the leftovers.

Yummo! I used chicken thighs, only 20g whole grain mustard and 20g dijon. I also halved the honey.
Didn't use butterfly whisk from comments and the chicken stayed in little pieces, just being careful with speed.

Loved this Had it again the next night and I think the mustard taste had really developed. My partner didn’t like the taste of the grated raw carrot in left-overs so I think next time I’ll split in half and add the carrot when we’re going to eat it

Absolutely delicious! I cooked 2kg of chicken in a pot and doubled the sauce so I had enough for 2 nights. Worked beautifully. The sauce was ahmazing!

Such a yummy and versatile recipe. I did 50:50 of seeded mustard and Dijon. I used gf flour to make the recipe gluten free and used coconut milk to make it df. I put the veges into the bowl and put the stirring setting on for 2 minutes at the end as they needed the extra heat.
Lovely!...
Lovely!
Next time I'll use the butterfly as mentioned here not to shred the meat but it was still yummy. I made 2 batches as I wasn't sure if kids would eat with honey but we couldn't really taste it. I also added the grated carrots to the final 5min of cooking.Didn't have beans but I bet it adds to the dish.

Loved this! Used the butterfly and only speed 0.5 which meant the chicken stayed together. Added extra vegetables, sweet potato, pumpkin, capsicum and mushrooms with the beans and steamed for the entire cooking time. Also used a whole chilli including seeds. Served with brown rice. Husband loved it too!

Yuh-uh-ummmm. Just had this for dinner tonight and it was delicious. I had 800ish gms of thigh fillets to use so threw it all in, and used fresh beans. It was beautiful. Also used the butterfly after reading comments. Will definitely make again!

Lovely recipe, perfect for beginners and very tasty. I've added more vegetables like spinach and it was extra delicious. Cut chicken into bigger chunks to avoid shredding.

yum. i made a few alterations though. like others, i reduced the speed and this stopped the chicken shreading. i subsituted cream for milk (could also use coconut milk or cream!). i also steamed a variety of veg in the varoma for the entire cooking time, then added it to the mixture at the end. served with brown rice. great flavours - will be making this again

This is a great recipe and will be a regular in our house. I didn't have turmeric so I used kens mustard powder instead. I also added 200gm of grated sweet potato, and when adding chicken I included 200gm of button mushrooms. I inserted the butterfly whisk but still ended up with mostly shredded chicken and my mushrooms disappeared. However, was still delicious.

Will you consider changing step 6 to say "add all other ingredients except cream AND beans"? I added the beans in that step and had to fish them all out when i realised they actually needed to be steamed in the varoma during another step

Really nice. The beans needed another 4 min at the end as they were still frozen I also used the whisk to avoid shreded chicken. Will make again

Have never had this dish so fresh - has always been from a jar. Didn't realise it was so easy to make and that it tastes so great.
I used sour cream as that's what I had available - came up well.
OMGamazing...
OMG...amazing!!
I've been using the Chicken Tonight version of this for a few months, and decided to try the Thermie version instead. Hands down one of the best things I have made in the Thermomix. I used a combination of wholegrain & dijon mustard, and sliced the carrots which I cooked on the stove with the beans. Also thickened the sauce with a little cornflour. An absolute winner, which will become part of my regular meal repertoire.

Lovely recipe, easy to make and really tasty. I made this when I was a complete beginner with my Bellini and it turned out really well. My family loved it! I think you could substitute vegetables and it would still work. Thank you for a fabulous recipe.

Taste is yummy, wish I'd read the comments regarding the butterfly, but I think even just reducing the speed while on "Counter-clockwise operation" would have sufficed. Chicken didn't entirely shred, but this is the first time is has shredded a bit for me. There is also a part where no temp is specified

i used the butterfly whisk as well. I have made the no wisk, small meat peices mistake before. I find the recipe a bit too sweet for me, especially with the carrots. I would use less honey next time. i followed the suggestion of 35g of mustard, but i think next time i will use the recipe ammount.
Lovely recipe, but would cook
Lovely recipe, but would cook garlic/chilli for longer. Run out of onions, but didn't miss them. Added the carrot to the varoma with broccoli and frozen beans. Needed to cook veggies a few minutes longer using varoma setting. Used butterfly whisk as suggested and reduced whole grain mustard to 50g.
Loved this so much! Both kids
Loved this so much! Both kids ate heaps and one is super fussy and painful to get to eat anything.
I doubled the garlic and next time would probably even go 3-4 cloves, but other than that it was amazing!

I substituted the cream for coconut milk and it turned out delicious! I also used the butterfly as suggested.
Used the butterfly, as
Used the butterfly, as chicken tends to shred otherwise, and it turned out perfectly. Had it with cauliflower rice and it was great. Will definatelly be making this again.
Delicious and easy to make.
Delicious and easy to make. Thank you!
I made this for the first
I made this for the first time last night. After reading the comments i decided to make the sauce & do the vegetables (I added alittle more) in the thermomix and brown my chicken in the pan. I added the sauce to the pan when it was done. It had a wonderful flavour and was enjoyed by all. The only thing i changed was i only added 35g of seeded mustard which we found to be more than enough. Thank you for sharing the recipe.
I wish I had read the
I wish I had read the comments before making this. The chicken is totally shredded. The appearance is awful. Thankfully the flavour is nice. Perhaps the author of this recipe could edit it. It certainly doesn't turn out like the photo!
This has fantastic flavours.
This has fantastic flavours. I added the carrot in at step 6 where it says to add the rest of the ingredients because I hadn't read ahead to the last step. Still worked out fine. I used the butterfly as others have said. There is no temp mentioned at step 9, I used 120 degrees however my beans were still a bit frozen so next time I will use varoma temp. I added half a chilli in case it was too hot for the kids but will probably use the whole chilli next time as it is very mild.
Great flavour in this dish. I
Great flavour in this dish. I slowed the speed right down, and cooked for a few minutes extra. I also added extra veggies in the last part. Thank you.
Slowed it down as most posts
Slowed it down as most posts say & used cream cheese instead of cream... Smells yummy!
The flavour is very nice. The
The flavour is very nice. The recipe turned out quite thin/runny and had to add additional flour to thicken the sauce. Also the chicken broke down and became fibrous during the cooking process. The steps need to be amended to ensurel the chicken doesn't fall apart before it's fully cooked. Good otherwise.
I used fresh beans and found
I used fresh beans and found the timing tricky as 5 mins wasn't enough to cook them in the varoma. But the flavours are great and I'll definitely try it again.

I am a new thermo cooker so was excited to make this we love honey nustard chicken.
this was so tasty and just full of flavour, I didn't have the stock so used they jelly stock from the chops. Like others have said it did go mushy like baby food so next time I'll lower the speed otherwise it's amazing and my fussy two year old loves it THANK YOU for sharing
I used the butterfly as
I used the butterfly as everyone suggested and turned out great! It's glowing green now but will fade as I use it
Just made it and ate it. Yum.
Just made it and ate it. Yum. I threw carrots and half a red peppers into step 3. Parents enjoyed. 9 enjoyed. Fussy 7 ate it with minimal fuss, so we take that as he enjoyed it.
Lets Cook!

Great recipe! Cut chicken a little larger than I normally would after reading about shredding issue. I also reduced speed to .5. turned out well. Family-friendly recipe.
tasted delicious.. next time
tasted delicious.. next time i will cook the chicken seperately in the varoma to resemble chicken and change up the veggies. also burnt the bottle of my TM5 bowl but all good.
Tastes great but my chicken
Tastes great but my chicken fell apart and resembled baby food. Luckily I have a pie maker, so I can use it up. I might steam the chicken separately next time and make the sauce separately.
Very delicious!
