Thai Yellow Prawn Curry (Paleo)

Ingredients

4 portion(s)

  • 3 cloves garlic, Peeled
  • 1 piece ginger root, 1 inch, peeled and cut into coins
  • 1 level teaspoon dried coriander
  • 1.5 teaspoons Cumin Powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 3/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fennel seed
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut or palm sugar
  • 1 can coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut butter or coconut cream
  • --- 2 cups veg (zucchini, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower)
  • 500 grams Uncooked, peeled prawns

Recipe's preparation

  1. Place spring onions, garlic, ginger, spices and fish sauce in TMX bowl Closed lid and Turbo 3-4 times, scraping sides down until a paste has formed.

    scrape sides down, add lime zest, coconut sugar, coconut milk, tomato paste and coconut butter/cream And mix 8 mins, 90 degrees, Speed 4.

    Add prawns and veg, cook for 15 minutes Counter-clockwise operationGentle stir setting 70 degrees, until prawns are pink.

    Pour into Thermoserver and sit for 5 minutes so sauce thickens slightly.

Tip

Can cook rice or quinoa to stretch this out - but not strict paleo then.

more veg and prawns can easily be added for bigger/more serves.

    Very nice! My veg needed a bit longer than 15 mins but prawns cooked perfectly. Will definately make it again.
