Kidney bean and vege chilli

  • 40g. olive oil
  • 1/2 Brown Onion sliced
  • 1/2 red capsicum sliced
  • 1 Carrot cut into rounds
  • 1 Zucchini cut into rounds
  • 2 level tablespoon TM vege stock concentrate
  • to taste Cumin Powder
  • 1 level teaspoon Sambal Oleck
  • 1 can Chopped tomato
  • 1/2 can Water.
  • 1 can kidney beans, washed and drained
  • Small Broccoli Head, Cut into florets with stems

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Kidney Bean and Vege Chilli
  1. Measure 40g Olive Oil into Thermo

    Add Onion and Capsicum

    saute 5 Mins. 100* Speed 1

    Add Carrots saute 5 Mins. 100* Speed 1

    Add Zucchini Saute 5 Mins 100* Speed 1

    Add Can tomatoes, water, cumin, sambal oleck and vege stock. Cook 10 mins. 100* Speed 1

    Add beans and broccoli, cook a further 5 mins. 100* speed 1

    Serve with steamed rice and guacamole.

    Hi julesannb,

    To delete the extra 1/2 that you dont need......Hover your cursor over the title of the recipe, click on the green pencil that appears...your recipe will now be in edit mode.

    Click on ingredients and this will open up the ingredient box for you to edit. Delete the 1/2 you dont need. An additional blank line may appear at the end of your ingredients list...hover over this line and click on the grey circle with the X in it and this will delete this additional line.

    Save ingredient box and it will close. Save recipe on the right hand side of screen and it will republish with updates.

    The 1/2 1/2 should read as only one 1/2, this is the first recipe I have posted and I couldn't work out how to delete the extra 1/2. Silly me
