Tip

Simple...but soooo tasty. Real peasant food from Polish backgrounds.

You can leave out the bacon to make it vegeterian friendly.

Can easily be doubled and other veggies added if desired..

We love this super tasty recipe and is a great option to use up excess ham, bacon or cabbage (when they all come ripe together). If there are any leftovers, my husband likes to add some shredded carrot and cook in the sandwich press between flakey pastry and serve with some sweet chilli sauce (think sanwich sized sprint rolls)!
