Recipe's preparation

    Meat Sauce
  1. Per-heat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

  2. Place the carrots, onion, garlic, basil, parsley, and oregano into the Thermomix for 5 seconds on speed 7.

  3. Place capsicum, mushrooms into the Thermomix for 2-3 seconds on speed 5.

  4. Place mince meat (whichever you variety/varieties you choose), the nutmeg and ground chili into the Thermomix. Select Varoma temperature, reverse Counter-clockwise operation speed and set at speed 1 1/2 - 2 for 5 minutes.

  5. Add remaining ingredients, set at temperature 100, reverse Counter-clockwise operation speed and set at speed 1 1/2 - 2 for 25 minutes.

  6. Cheese Sauce
  7. Place all ingredients into the Thermomix, set to speed 4 for 8 minutes at temperature 90.

  8. Pulling it together
  9. Pulling it together is simple. Begin with oiling the baking dish and place lasagne sheets as a base.

  10. Add a layer of Meat Sauce and top with a layer of Cheese Sauce. Add a lasagna sheet to the top of this and continue this process until all Meat Sauce has been used.

  11. Place a final layer of Cheese Sauce on top of the last lot of lasagna sheets. Top this with The remaining Parmasen and Tasty Cheese.

  12. Bake lasagna in a 180 degree celcius preheated oven for 40 minutes.

  13. Stand lasagna for 10 minutes before dividing and serving.

Tip

With the Meat sauce, steps 2 and 3 and 4 can be combined and you proceed straight into the 10 minute Varoma cook on reverse speed. Then drop it back to the temperature 100 for the remaining 20 minutes.

The Prep. time is small in this dish. The time is spent with the Thermomix cooking the sauces and then in the oven finisheing the baking. Leaving you time to do all those other important things!

Tried and liked, even if my cheese sauce was a bit runny and the mince was a tiny mushy. Family enjoyed it especially the crunchy cheesy top of lasagna. Will make again. Thanks for recipe.

    Submitted by McCubbinMama on 23. November 2016 - 20:49.

Cheese sauce is like water - what's missing??? I've added butter and it's still water. Waste of a litre of milk ☹️ Update-I've added around 50gm of butter and cooked for another 5 minutes on speed 3 - 90degrees and it's delicious!! Thanks for recipe.
