If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Place onion and garlic in mixing bowl. Speed 7, 3 Seconds.
Add olive oil. Cook 3 Minutes, 100 degrees, Speed 1.
Add tomatoes. Cook 5 Minutes, 100 degrees, "Counter-clockwise operation" Speed 1.
Transfer to Thermoserver to keep warm.
Put parmesan in bowl, Grate, 10 Seconds, Speed 10.
Add ricotta, egg and 130 grams of flour and mix "Dough mode" 10 Seconds. Use remaining flour to create a firm dough - firm to roll.
Divide into portions and make 4 logs. Cut each log up inot 2cm pieces. If you want to shape them - press down with the back of a fork.
Bring saucepan to the boil, add gnocchi and cook for 3 minutes or until the gnocchi rises to the top and is cooked.
Remove them with a slotted spoon.
Serve with sauce and basil leaves.
