For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Add everything into the bowl
- place simmering basket onto the lid instead of the MC, or place Vamora onto lid and place a jar upside down and lid beside it to sterilize them while the jam is cooking
- 15-20 mins/ 100 degrees/ sp 2
- once finished cooking place in sterilized jar place lid on and allow to cool. Make sure the rim of the jar is clean

This recipe can be doubled, if using frozen berries thaw them first on some papertowel
