Recipe's preparation
Oil lid with olive oil inside and out (this will reduce red staining)
Place tomatoes, red capiscum, red onion, garlic and 50gr red wine vinegar into bowl and chop, 5sec, sp7. Scrape down sides and lid.
Remove MC and place simmering basket on the bowl lid. Cook 40mins, varoma, sp2.
Add 50gr red wine vinegar, mustard, spices and honey. Cook 15mins, varoma, sp2.
Blend slowly building up to sp10 for approx 1min till smooth.
Transfer hot sauce into sterilized jars/bottle of choice to 3/4 mark. Leave to cool on bench before refridgerating.
This sauce is very thick and can be thined down especially if using a bottle so you can pour easier. Top with approx 2 tablespoons of filtered water and give a good shake or stir until consistency of your liking.

This was really spicy. I added a whole lot more tomatos to try and tone it down but I'm not sure I've been sucessful. Maybe the kids will eat it, but more likely they won't. Guess it will be up to me!

Great recipe, thank you!
The second time I made this, I used 3 tins of tomatoes (400g tins) instead of fresh tomatoes and reduced the honey to 80g and the result was perfect (I found it a little too sweet first time and will probably reduce the honey a little further next time).
Seriously a fail-safe, easy to make recipe, perfect for replacing the store bought bottle full of preservatives and a lot tastier too!

Omg this is so good!! I didn't have any red wine vinegar. So I used half red wine and half white vinegar! Worked a treat.. I need to get some cheaper tomatoes as they did cost me about $5 a kg
