A weekly favourite in our house. My 13 year old absolutely loves it, as we do too. I cook my bacon in the oven first and add the cream and stick once onion is cooked. Then I add the potatoes to the sauce and mix in casserole dish.

I used half white potato and half Hawian potato. Potato didn't cut up very well so separated into 3 batches to get small chunks. I added the recommended cream amount at the stock stage. Instead of vegetable stock, I used 3 generous spoons of bone broth.

    Submitted by Geznjim on 30. November 2017 - 17:02.

This is my new go to potato bake. I always hated slicing the potato so thinly in previous recipes.

I cut the potatoes up on the board and then added them via the top while Thermi reverse stirred, added the veggie stock and cream til combined. Poured it all into a baking dish and topped wth cheese. So simple. Thank you 💐

    Submitted by Hello2jen on 11. July 2016 - 17:52.

Very tasty. I don't think you need to cook the bacon and onion before putting in the oven. I chopped the bacon with the onion and only chopped the potatoes for 3 secs to keep them chunky. Added a bit of cream too.

Thanks for sharing such a fabulous recipe. I added garlic plus 150g sour cream and 50g cream similar to other people. Mine was a little salty, most likely due to my vegie stock so next time I will reduce to 1/2 tbsp.  tmrc_emoticons.D

I've made this a few times now in a week to take to different functions & everyone loved it!!! Great easy recipe. I added the cream & also a clove of garlic. I thought it wouldn't be the same not having the sliced potatoes,  but makes no difference & so much quicker. I blitzed mine on speed 4 only for a few seconds as I prefer mine chopped a bit coarser. Thanks for the recipe tmrc_emoticons.)

This was loved by all. I also added garlic and cream and used a bit of leftover ham as well as the bacon. Chopped the potatoes for a litte less time and although I do like slices potatoes in a potato bake, this takes much less time and still tastes great.

    Submitted by Ash.8.7 on 17. December 2014 - 19:36.

Made this tonight as a side dish to our BBQ dinner. I also added about half a cup of cream to the mix and a clove of garlic. Was delish!! Next time I make it i'll leave the potatoes a bit bigger. I'm still a new thermy owner and finding my way around it so I didn't expect the potato to come out so small and fine after only 6 seconds on speed 4.
