- pinch salt, to taste, remember that potato absorbs a lot of salt.
- 1 teaspoon vegetable stock concentrate
- 50 g Butter
- 150 g Milk

Recipe's preparation
Add potatoes to steaming basket and add the water to the bowl.
Then cook 20/25min/Veroma/"Gentle stir setting" . Potatoes must be soft.
Once cooked, remove basket and discard water. Attach butterfly and add potatoes back into bowl.
add salt, stock, milk and butter. then 10seconds speed 4.
Serve immediatley and enjoy.

I think for the first time ever I looked forward...
I think for the first time ever I looked forward to mashed potato after I tried it. It was amazing! I cut down the recipe as I had cooked around 500g potatoes in the water that was steaming a silverside, and it turned out so creamy and delicious. Even the husband said that has to be the best mash he's ever tasted! I even said we'll just have that and veges with the next silverside and skip the sauce as it's not really needed. Yum!

"Dough mode" I have never bothered in the past to cook my potatoes in the TM found it just as easy with a pot and a potato masher. However gave this a try and first time the consistency was a bit light on for me so second time used a blob of butter and a splash of milk same as I would have done if cooking on the stove top and consistency was just right. Nicely whipped and creamy. Will do this again.
