  • 300 g bakers flour
  • 5 g Yeast
  • 5 g sea salt
  • 15 g vegetable oil
  • 2 g baking soda
  • 180 g water
  • Oil for deep fry

Recipe's preparation

  1. - Mix all the ingredients in the mixing bowl - 6 sec / speed 6

    - Knead for 3 mins/Closed lid/Dough mode

    - transfer the dough onto thermoMat and work into a ball

    - place into a bowl and cover with a tea towel - to prove in a warm place until double in size (approx 1 hour)

    - knock down dough and continue to prove for 45 mins or in the fridge (covered) overnight.

    - knock down and roll dough out to form a rectangle - around 7cm thick

    - Heat up the oil up to 170 to 180 degrees 

    - divided into 10 "strings" 20x2cm.  Cut the string in half, put one on top the other.  Then use a chopstick to press gently in the middle.  

    - pull the string on both side gently to make it slightly longer before putt them into the oil - ready when it changed into golden colour.
