- 50 grams Parmesan cheese, (optional)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 lemons
- 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes
- 50 grams extra virgin olive oil
- 200 grams Kale, (thick stems removed)
- Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper, to taste

TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Place Parmesan cheese (cut into 2cm chunks) into bowl and blitz for 10 seconds/speed 10. Put aside in separate bowl.
Place garlic into bowl and finely chop for 5 seconds/speed 7.
Add juice of the lemons, chilli flakes, extra virgin olive oil, salt and freshly ground black pepper and blend for 10 seconds on speed 10.
Place kale leaves into the bowl and chop for 5 seconds, speed 5. Check and repeat if necessary to get the correct consistency.
Add the reserved Parmesan (optional) and serve on a platter or bowl
Accessories you need
Set the salad aside for 30 minutes before adding the Parmesan cheese and serving to help macerate the kale leaves.
