      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.       If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Sauerkraut
  1. 1. Thinly slice 1/4 large cabbage (organic best)
  2. 2. Add to Thermomix bowl
  3. 3. Add a dessertspoon of salt
  4. 4. Add a spoon of culture starter (optional)
  5. 5. Macerate on REVERSE Speed 1 for 25 mins
  6. 6. Pack tightly into sterilised jar, ensuring cabbage is covered by liquid
  7. 7. Leave to sit on kitche bench for 1 - 2 weeks until fermentation is at desired level, then refrigerate.
  8. 8. Enjoy a spoonful with meals daily for boosted gut and immune health
