If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
- Place onion & garlic into TM bowl "Closed lid" and chop for 8 seconds on speed 7. Use spatula & scrap down the sides.
- Add potato, pumpkin, water, stocks and salt and pepper, and cook for 20 minutes at 100° on speed 1.
- Blend for 20-30 seconds"Closed lid" by slowly going from speed 1 to speed 9.
- Pour cream into TM bowl "Closed lid" & stir 1 minutespeed "Gentle stir setting"
- Pour soup into Thermo Server.
- Serve with fresh homemade spelt bread rolls. (Basic Bread recipe on p112 of Everyday Cookbook, but replace whole wheat grain with spelt wheat.)

Make sure you put the measuring cup in the lid of the TM Bowl "Closed lid" in all the stages of this receipe.

I used coconut cream instead of cream and added some nutmeg before blending. Fussy hubby loved it!
