  • Cyndi's protocol is great. I

Cyndi's protocol is great. I have done it myself  with great results.

I'm hoping to add some more but my latest favourite is Raw Cauliflower with Apple  and 100g  chicken. Shred the cauliflower on reverse for about 10 seconds speed 4. Set aside.

Then chop an apple on speed 5 for about 5 seconds.

then pop your cooked chicken breast in and shred on reverse speed 4 for 4-5 seconds. pop the cauliflower back in and stir it through still on reverse for 5-10 secs speed 3 or 4.

Its jst a basic version of Matt Stones recipe without dressing.

    Enjoy!

  • Oh wow.. thanks for that

Oh wow.. thanks for that info, I didn't realise and have prompted me to do some more thorough research into the protocol. I am currently doing the HCG that Cindi Omeara promotes through Changing Habits.. Is fantastic and feeling amazing. Got my thermy two weeks ago so typed HCG in the recipe search with hope of finding some more options in Phase 2. Thanks for the recipe and will give it a go.   tmrc_emoticons.)

  • It depends on which

    Submitted by bekstuff on 25. July 2013 - 20:28.

It depends on which particular protocol you follow, as to the use of coconut oil. You will notice that it is a half teaspoon which is all that it contains to 4 serves. Digested coconut oil, unlike other fats, does not end up in the blood stream for eventual distribution to the body’s fat store. Instead, it proceeds to the liver, which immediately converts it into energy and increases the body’s metabolic rate. This is precisely what you want a diet foodstuff to do for you – particularly on a HCG diet, one of whose chief aims is to deplete the fat store cells (adipose tissue) such that fat can no longer be stored so easily.

From the research that I have done, it is the only acceptable oil on the HCG protocol, albeit in small quantities.

  • Hi Bekstuff, I think you will

    Hi Bekstuff,

I think you will find can't have any oils whatsoever on the HCG protocol.. You have mentioned coconut oil in this recipe? and the vegetable stock paste wouldn't be acceptable on the HCG either? Unless you are talking about introducing this recipe in Phase 4?
