Cheesy bread

  • 100 grams Butter
  • 500 grams plain flour
  • 5 grams dried instant yeast
  • 500 grams warm water, no hotter then 37°
  • 300 grams feta cheese, Bulgarian or Greek
  • 70 grams Mozzarella Cheese, block cut into cubes
  • 70 grams Cheddar cheese, or tasty

Recipe's preparation

  1. Melt butter 5min/50°c/ sp2
  2. Pour half into a bowl and set aside and the other half In a deep dish that’s 40cm x 30cm and spread evenly all over the dish.
  3. Don’t clean the bowl
  4. Add flour, yeast and water knead for 5min.
  5. It should look very runny.
  6. Add half of the feta and knead for 2mins. While kneading , add remaining feta through the MC hole small piece at a time.
  7. Pour dough into the baking dish and pour the remaining butter on top.
  8. Cover baking dish with glad wrap.
    Leave to prove for 2 hours.
  9. Pre-heat oven to 200°.
  10. Blitzing the cheese in a clean mixing bowl or your second mixing bowl for 4sec/sp7.
    Crumble cheese on top.
  11. Bake for 35 mins


    Best served warm

This bread is rather oily but it is nevertheless the oil that makes it delicious.
