      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees & prepare a brownie tin with baking paper

    Chop the nuts if they are not already chopped for 5 secs / speed 5

    Set aside & wipe the bowl out

    Add sugar & chocolate & mill for 10 secs / speed 9

    Add butter & cocoa & melt for 2 mins / 90 degrees / speed 2

    Add eggs & vanilla essence and mix for 10 secs / speed 4

    Add flour and mix for 10 secs / speed 4

    Scrape down sides & repeat if necessary

    Pour into the brownie tin & bake for 20 - 25 mins

    Be careful not to let it bake for too long otherwise it will dry out

Tip

You can sprinkle over some icing sugar but it's not necessary
