Meatballs

- 1 Zuccchini
- 500 gram chicken mince
- 250 gram breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 2 pinches herbs, any fresh
Sauce
- 1 red onion
- 2 clove garlic
- 1 red capsicum
- 1 jar Tinned tomatoes
- 2 fresh tomatoes
- 2 heaped tablespoon fresh basil
- 2 heaped tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 heaped tablespoon TMX Veg Stock Paste
- 2 dashes red wine
- 1 zucchini, To Serve

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
Blitz onion, garlic and zuchinni 4sec/Sp7
Add mince, breadcrums, egg and herbs and combine on reverse Sp4
Roll into balls and place into Varoma
Rinse TMX bowl
Blitz onion, garlic and capsicum for 4sec/Sp7. Scrape down bowl
Add remaining ingredients and combine on Sp4
Place Varoma on TMX Bowl and cook metablls and sauce for 30mins/Varoma/Sp 3.
Check meatballs are cooked to your liking and sauce is thick and slightly reduced.
Use a spiralizer or Veg peerler to create zoodles or cook up some spagetthi or pasta.
Place meatballs on top and cover with sauce and grated cheese.

Add a commentI made the sauce only as I
I made the sauce only as I already had meatballs prepared. This sauce was fantastic. I'm bookmarking it to use again because we really loved it.
I accidentslly left out a tomato and I only used half a capsicum. I used the fresh basil from a tube because I had nothing else. Still made a very tasty sauce.
