Recipe's preparation
Combine Cocoa and Brown Sugar for 5 secs, speed 7.
Set aside. (No need to wash bowl)
Cream butter and bown sugar 15 secs, speed 4.
Add egg and combine for 5 secs, speed 4.
Add milk, cocoa and flour. Mix for 5 secs, speed 7.
Fill silicon dariole moulds with pudding mix to just under 1/2 way. Don't be tempted to over fill as the puddings grow during steaming.
Divide sauce powder between moulds.
Wash TMX bowl and then put 500g of boiling water in the bowl.
Top up moulds with boiling water and place into Varoma Dish.
Loosely cover with aluminium foil. This prevents condensation dripping from the lid onto your puddings.
Steam for 26mins, Varoma Temp, Sp 4.
When timer goes off, remove the foil and let the puddings sit for at least 5 mins. They will settle back into their cups.
Tip moulds upside down onto serving plate.
Serve with cream and/or ice cream.

Tip
The longer you let the puddings sit after steaming, the thicker the sauce will become.
You can also bake this mixture in the oven in ramekins or a large baking dish.
Any leftover puddings can be reheated in the moulds in the Varoma.

These are a great dessert
I often make these when visitors pop in unexpectedly or if I need something easy and without too much hands on time. I normally reduce sugar in sauce...personal preference only.

Good recipe, very light cake
Good recipe, very light cake after cooking. I cooked in a Pyrex dish in the oven for 30mims on 180 degrees. I used about 1 cup of hot water with the dry sauce mixer and then poured over cake batter mixture as this is what you do in the normal recipe.. Will defiantly be cooking this one again.

Hi there, I hope to make this for dessert tonight for my guests, so was thinking if making them a little beforehand, then reheating as you suggested in your tip. How long would it take to reheat, and what settings would you use? Thanks!

I'm not a good cook; I have a thermomix which makes up for my lack of culinary skill. : )
I made this for the family
I made this for the family tonight and they turned out beautifully. I used a silicon 6 hole muffin tray in the top of the Varoma and two ceramic ramekins in the bottom tray. A great recipe that tasted lovely and I didn't have to wash a large oven dish! Thanks.

These are also really lovely
These are also really lovely with a handful of chopped walnuts thrown into the mix and some good quality unsweetened Greek Yoghurt that just cuts the sweetness of the sauce for those who don't have a sweet tooth.
