Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Tip
This is absolutely fantastic with any meat, it is a conversion from a recipe by Curtis Stone, found in the Dec 2015 Coles Magazine.
Sorry about the picture, the jars had sealed by the time I thought to take a photo and I didn't want to unseal them. We are having this on Christmas Day and I will update then.

The original recipe called
The original recipe called for 45 min of cooking, but I was keepimg an eye on it and it was done after about 15-20 min. I think frozen cherries have a tad more liquid - though it beats ppitting the cherries...
Made this for Christmas ham
Made this for Christmas ham and turkey. Easy to make and tasted tart with a bit of sweetness. It was fairly thin so I cooked for longer although I did use frozen cherries which may have been the reason. Thank you very much for the recipe.
