For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Sterelize 1 x 300ml glass jar
- Add strawberries, Beetroot, Zucchini and lemon juice and blend 5 seconds/ speed 5
- Cook 20 min/120°C/speed
- When the jam reaches the setting point, pour the hot jam into sterilized jars, and seal immediately. Set aside to cool completely. Store in the fridge until ready to serve for up to 3 months. Great to use as toppings for a variety of recipes.
