Ingredients

4 portion(s)

  • 1 onion, peeled and quartered
  • 2 bacon rashers
  • 20 gram oil
  • 600 gram water
  • 1 tablespoon TM stock concentrate
  • 800 gram cauliflower florets
  • 1 tsp curry pwdr
  • salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoon plain flour
  • 20 gram Butter
  • Nutmeg, to taste (optional)

Recipe's preparation

  1. Chop onion and bacon, 2 seconds speed 6. Scrape down sides of bowl.

    Add oil and saute 2 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1, MC off.

    Add water, cauliflower, salt, stock and curry powder and cook 15 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1.

    Add flour and butter, cook a further 5 mins, 100 degrees, speed 1.

    Blend 40 seconds going slolwy from speed 1 to speed 8.

    This recipe is so delicious and creamy! Didn't have bacon so subbed for diced ham, nuttelex instead of butter for DF. Perfect coming in to winter.

    This soup is amazing! My husband was pretty unimpressed when I told him we were having Cauliflower soup for dinner. As soon as he tasted the soup he was obsessed with it! Tonight will be the third time in 2 weeks that we have made the soup.  Its a new favourite in our house - thank you so much for the amazing recipe!

    Ok, so I am VERY new to this. Got my Thermie 4 days ago. Had no idea what to do for dinner tonight. Had every thing except curry powder. I just substituted with a bit of grated parmasan and paprika. Very yummy, very nutritious and on the table within half an hour from deciding what I was going to have tmrc_emoticons.)

    I made this tonight as per the recipe and it was DELICIOUS! The nicest soup I think I've ever tasted. And I made it myself! I served it with some crusty bread rolls (TMX made of course) and fried bacon bits on top.
