Recipe's preparation

    How to make the dumplings
  1. Add the Parmesan and Parsely to the bowl and mix 10 seconds speed 10
  2. Add flour to bowl and mix 10 seconds, speed 6
  3. Add milk to bowl and knead on Dough mode"Dough mode" mode for 30 seconds.
  4. Scrape and repeat if necessary and if a little dry add a dash more milk and if a little wet add a dash more flour.
  5. Transfer the dumplings to a bowl and roll into small balls to top your casserole, soup or stew! I made the 'creamy mustard chicken stew' recipe from Cookidoo and popped these on top before baking in the oven with a little extra grated cheese. More photos and a video can be found on my page, Gluten Free and Coeliac Mixing with Lisa!

Tip

I used Well and Good gluten free self raising flour for this recipe and it worked perfectly!

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
