  • 75 grams red onion peeled and quartered, (approx half a red onion)
  • 60 grams red capsicum, roughly chopped, (approx half a small capsicum)
  • 10 grams vegetable oil
  • 200 grams sweet potato, peeled and chopped
  • 35 grams red lentils, washed
  • 150 grams water

Recipe's preparation

  1. Chop onion and capsicum for 3 seconds, speed 7

    Add oil and cook for 3 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1

    Add sweet potato and chop for 5 seconds, speed 7, scraping down the bowl half way if required.

    Scrape down sides of the bowl and add lentils and water. 

    Cook for 15 minutes, 100 degrees, speed 1

Tip

This recipe is based on an Annabel Karmel recipe.  If you want to make it more suitable for younger babies you can puree it again at the end of the cooking time.
