      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. Pre heat oven 220c/200c fan forced. Grease an 18cm x 28cm slice pan.

Place flour, sugar, salt and butter into mixing bowl, turbo 2 x 1 sec.

Add milk, chives, dried herbs and 40g of the cheese, mix 6sec/sp4 then Dough mode 30 sec.

Place scone mixture onto floured Thermomat and press out to 3cm thick round. Dip a 5 cm round cutter into flour and cut out scones. Press out remaining dough and repeat to make more.

Place scones just touching onto pan, brush with extra milk and sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until golden.

Lovely. Very easy and made a big batch. Didn't use dried herbs, just a sprinkle of paprika and cayenne in the cheese on top.

Delicious. As per a previous comment, I added extra cheese and Parmesan plus some chopped semi dried tomatoes. I didn’t have chives so used onion salt👍🏻

Super yummy!! I had made a batch of garlic and herb butter from scratch so I didn't wash the bowl, used the herb butter in the scones and the herb infused buttermilk for the milk. Really good!!!

House full of hungry kids, shopping day tomorrow, so limited ingredients....blitzed these up in seconds, 15 minutes later 5 kids (ranging in age for 13 months - 12 years) stuffing them down their necks like they've never eaten before in their lives....So tasty and yummy! Thank you.
