Biscuits

  • 120 g Cheddar cheese
  • 120 g Parmesan cheese
  • 200 g unsalted butter, chopped, chilled
  • 200 g plain flour
  • 1 egg, room temp
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Recipe's preparation

    Combining ingredients
  1. Place parmesan cheese into bowl and grate 8 secs/speed 9. Add cheddar and repeat 8 secs/speed 9. Add butter and flour and mix 3 secs/speed 6. Add egg and water and mix 6 secs/speed 6.

    Remove mixture from bowl, roll into sausage and wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 1 hour until set hard.

     

  2. Preheat oven 180C.

    Line 4 baking trays with baking paper.

    Slice bicuits into 1 cm thick rounds, lay on baking paper with 2 cm gap in-between, baste the top of each biscuit with egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds (white/black/both.)

    These are fantastic. So flaky and delicious. Like eating grilled and crispy cheese. My 11 yr old made these on her own.
