  • 140 g Parmesan cheese, cut in pieces (1 cm cubes)
  • 4 sheets Puff pastry, readymade, thawed
  • 0.6 litre thickened cream
  • 6 eggs
  • 5 g salt
  • 150 g Shaved Ham, chopped
  • 140 g spinach, thawed from frozen

      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC fan forced
  2. Cut out 24 circles 9cm in diameter using a cookie cutter or cut around 9cm diameter bowl with a knife.
  3. Line 2 x 12-hole muffin tin with puff pastry
  4. Place Parmesan cheese in mixing bowl and grate 15-20 sec/speed 10. Set aside
  5. Add cream, salt and eggs to the mixing bowl. Mix 20s/speed 5.
  6. Fill the pastry lined muffin tin with 1 tsp ham and/or spinach and 1tsp grated parmesan cheese.
  7. Fill each pastry with the egg & cream mixture up to just below the top of the pastry.
  8. Bake for 30 minutes until pastry is browned & filling is cooked, swapping the trays halfway.
  9. Cool in tin for 5 mins then transfer to a wire rack to cool.
