For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- 1. Add butter, flour, French twist and milk to bowl. Cook 4 min/ 90 deg / speed 3.
2. Add chopped cheese then turn on 20seconds / speed 2. Add eggs 1 at a time.
3. Add chopped bacon and mix 10sec / speed 2.
4. Pour into prepared pastry dish and cook 180deg till skewer comes out clean from center.
NOTE: cheese will melt while cooking in oven.
