      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1.

    Method

Place parsley and frozen spinach in TM bowl 8 seconds  on speed  8. Set aside in bowl.

Place 85 grams of tasty cheese in TM bowl for 4 seconds on speed 8. Place in bowl with parsley.

Place  1/2 onion (roughly cut into quarters) in TM and chop for 5 seconds on speed  7.

Add diced bacon and oil and cook for 4 minutes at 100⁰C on speed  1.

Add all remaining ingredients into TM bowl for 2 minutes on Reverse + speed 1.

Spoon into normal muffin pan - makes 12.

Bake at 180C for approx 15 mins.

    Notes:

These are delicious served warm and would be nice served as a full breakfast with poached or fried eggs, tomato, avocado and hollandaise sauce or goat's cheese.

These are a weekly staple in my house! I use baby spinach instead of frozen and corn instead of peas.

These are absolutely yummy! I thought I'd taste test one and ate 2, so I had to put them away or my little boy won't get any! So quick and easy to make and very adaptable to add/remove ingredients. They did turn out greener than the pic but that's ok.

  • I read the previous comment

    Submitted by fjlyons on 28. November 2015 - 14:01.

I read the previous comment and added only half the recommended spinach/parsely. Also didn't include peas as I'm not a fan of peas. Added extra bacon and egg over the top at the end. Very yummy but still very green compared to the pic. I wonder if it would be good to add the frozen spinach at the end without blitzing it first? Anyhow I will be doing these again.
