If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation
1. Pre heat Oven 200*C (190*C if Fan forced)
2.Line flat baking tray with baking paper (you may need 2 or more depending on size).
3. Mill raw sugar 10 sec/speed 10.
4. Add self-raising flour, baking powder, thickened cream and cold water. "Counter-clockwise operation" 6 sec/speed 6.
5. Tip dough onto Thermomat or a well floured surface. Roll into a ball and flatten with hands to approx 2cm.
Do Not Continue To Kneed.
6. Using a Cutter to your choice press into scone dough and place on lined tray.
7. Using the milk, brush onto top of scones to get a nice golden colour.
8. Place scones in the pre-heated oven for 12-15 minutes until golden on top.
9.Top with what ever you like. Jam and Cream is pictured above.

You can add what ever you like to the scone mix to make it sweet or savoury just add in after step 3.
