Allergy friendly pancakes

  • 50 g vegan butter, eg nutelex
  • 300 g oat or almond milk
  • 2 level tbsp ground Flaxseed, mixed with 6 tablespoons of water
  • 30 g honey, or coconut sugar
  • 200 g gluten free flour
  • 1 level tbsp Gluten Free Baking Powder

      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation

    Allergy friendly pancakes
  1. Place butter into mixing bowl and melt 2 min/70°C/speed 1.
  2. Add milk, eggs, sugar, plain flour, baking powder and salt and mix 10 sec/speed 5
  3. cook pancakes, place a frying pan over medium heat and melt some butter. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until bubbles and then flip over for a further 1 minute.

    Transfer into a thermal serving bowl to keep hot or serve straight away.

Tip

To make your own ground flaxseed.
Place the flaxseed/linseed into bowl and mill 30secs/speed10. Then transfer into a small bowl and mix in the 6 tablespoons of water. Then add into the recipe when it asks

You can also use a chia seed replacement if you dont have flaxseed as well. Some instructions as above but leave to sit for 5 minutes before adding to the recipe
