Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Prepare all fruit in a bowl peeled, cored and chopped.

    2. Prepare 26cm baking dish slightly buttered and baking paper.

    3. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.

    4. Place lemon zest and sugar into mixing bowl and mill 20 sec/speed 9. Scrape down sides of bowl and repeat if necessary.

    5. Add soft butter (room temperature) and mix 30 sec/speed 5.

    6. Remove MC and add the eggs one at a time while mixing on speed 3 then add flour a bit at a time together with baking powder and salt, then add milk.

    7. Add the smooth cream to the fruit.

    8. Pour mixture into baking dish.

    9. Place in preheated oven and bake 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

    10. Take out of oven, make sure sides of cake are not stuck to baking dish and turn it upside down onto a plate, remove baking paper and turn again onto serving dish so the cake is now the right side up.

    *Serve luke warm or cold.

  • Cake looks great, and almost

Cake looks great, and almost tastes great except for the over powering baking powder flavour! I used 15g which seemed like a lot, so next time i would just put 1.5 tsp.

I'd love to try this recipe.  Can you tell me how many mL or grams is in a 'glass of milk'? Thanks.
