  • 50 grams pitted dates
  • 100 grams dessicated coconut
  • 2 tablespoon Shredded Coconut (Reserved for the end), *Can use dessicated

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Instructions
  1. Place all ingredients into TMX mixing bowl.
  2. On speed 7/20s
  3. Empty ingredients into a lined baking tray and smooth mixture evenly to about a 2cm thickness.

    **TIP**Line the top of the mixture with baking paper and use a glass to use to press down mixture.
  4. Refrigerate for at least an hour to harden.
  5. Lift mixture out of the tin with the lined baking paper and cut into long logs and cut into bite sizes. Or use silicone bar moulds
  6. Place into a container with reserved coconut and shake to coat.
  7. Refrigerate in an airtight container.
