      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. Recipe's preparation

    APRICOT, COCONUT AND OAT SLICE
  1. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees and line a 28cm x 18scm slice tin with baking paper – make sure to leave paper hanging over the sides
  2. Place the dried apricots into the bowl and use the 1 sec turbo function 2 – 3 times to chop.
    Transfer into a small bowl & set aside.
  3. Without washing the bowl, add the golden syrup and butter and cook for 2 minutes, 60 degrees, speed 2.
  4. Add the remaining ingredients (including the chopped apricots) and mix for 15 seconds, speed 4, REVERSE.
  5. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and mix for a further 10 seconds, speed 4, REVERSE until mixture is combined.
  6. Tip the mixture into your prepared slice tray and press firmly with the back of a metal spoon to smooth the surface.
  7. Place into the oven and bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  8. Allow the slice to cool completely in the tin before cutting into pieces and storing in an airtight container.

    This slice was quite nice, a little dry. I ended up melting a bit of white chocolate to drizzle over the top which I thought helped lift the flavour.
