  • 100 g walnuts
  • 1 egg
  • 30 g olive oil
  • 115 g orange juice
  • 200 g sugar
  • 250 g SR flour

      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Method:-
  1. 1.
    Preheat oven 180°C. Grease (with oil) and line a loaf tin.
    2.
    Place dried apricots into TM bowl.
    Chop 5 sec / speed 7
    Add water and leave to soak for 1 hour.
    3.
    Add Walnuts.
    Chop 5 sec / speed 4
    4.
    Add egg, olive oil, orange juice, sugar, SR flour, and salt.
    Mix 10 sec / speed4
    5.
    Pour into prepared loaf tin and bake for 1 hour.

    To serve:-

    Slice loaf when completely cool.
    Enjoy!

Tip

Optional Extra:-

You may wish to spread the slices with Nutella, or Almond Butter, or, eat just as it comes!

(Of course, you can spread the slices with normal butter, but it will no longer be
non-dairy
