      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Grease and line baking tin.

    Place butter (cubed), fruit, sugar, water, baking soda and spices in bowl. Cook 10 mins @ 100, Reverse, sp 1.

    Cool and stand overnight if possible.

    Add beaten eggs, flour and baking powder to cooled mixture and mix 40 secs sp 2 Reverse using spatula to assist till all incorporated.

    Put into prepared tin and decorate as in photo or sprinkle with slivered almonds, press well into mixture.

    Bake 130c for 2.5 hours. Cool in tin 30 mins before turning out onto wire rack to cool completely.
