Banana bread

  • 120 grams Butter
  • 140 grams brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 280 grams flour
  • 1 level tsp Bi Carb Soda
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 120 grams chocolate chips, (optional)

Recipe's preparation

    Banana Bread
  1. Beat the sugar and butter together for 15 seconds on speed 4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl 

  2. Add the eggs and bananas. Beat the mixture for 15 seconds on speed 5.

  3. Add in the remaining dry ingredients and beat on speed 4 for 10 to 20 seconds, just until combined.

  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pans and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.

    Great recipe! Simple and fast to make. Lovely and soft on the inside but crunchy on the outside. Yum!

    I put oven on 160•C  and it took 45 mins

    This recipe filled one loaf tin.

    Might add walnuts next time.

    I use this recipe all the time. Admittedly I don't east bananas but my daughter and husband love this. I make little loaves and freeze them - they are the perfect size for breakfast. Too easy!
