Big Jessie's Traditional Scottish Shortbread

Ingredients

20 slice(s)

Shortbread

  • 340 grams plain flour
  • 115 grams caster sugar
  • 230 grams Butter

Recipe's preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to bowl and mix for 30 sec speed 4 or until mixture resembles breadcrumbs. 

    Then mix for another 30 sec speed 6 or until it starts to come together.

    Tip mixture out onto a clean bench and use your hands to form a ball. 

    Press into a lined tin (tin size depends how thick you like your shortbread) crimp edges and prick with a fork all over. 

    Bake at 150c for 1 hour or until cooked.
