      If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
      For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

  1. Turn oven to 180 degrees (fan forced)

    Line / Grease a 20x20 baking tray

    Add butter and cocoa to thermomix - 2 mins, 80 degrees, speed 2

    Add sugar and vanilla - 10 seconds, speed 4, then remove lid and scrape bowl

    Add flour - 10 seconds, speed 5, then remove lid and scrape bowl

    Add eggs one at a time (allow first one to mix in before adding the second one) - 30 seconds, speed 4

    *variation - mix through whatever you'd like here eg. Walnuts, choc chips

    It's a thick mix so scrape it into baking tray and bake for 20-25 mins
