B's Banana Bread (Kid approved)
- 60 grams pitted dates
- to taste chia seeds
- 125 grams Butter, Chopped
- 80 grams brown sugar
- 350 grams ripe bananas, Approx 4
- 2 --- eggs
- 1 level teaspoon vanilla extract, Or Essence
- 1 level teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 250 grams wholemeal plain flour
- 1 level teaspoon baking powder
- .75 level teaspoon bicarbonate soda
- 3 level tablespoon WARM milk

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 180 (fan forced).
- Chop Dates speed 7 for 8-10 seconds. Set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar, speed 4 for 20 seconds. Scrape down sides.
- Add remaining ingredients including reserved Dates and mix on Reverse, speed 6 for 30 seconds or until mixed.
- Pour into greased bread loaf tin and bake for 55 minutes.
NB: I reduce the temperature to 150 degrees after 30 minutes.

Tip
Once cooled, slice and wrap in foil. Freeze for school lunches.
