      Recipe is created for
      TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipe's preparation

    Use organic ingredients where possible
  1. Place dates and ginger in thermomix bowl. Chop at speed 7 for 10 secs.

Add all other ingredients to bowl

mix in reverse mode: speed 2 for 10 mins at 50ºC

The coconut oil will melt and everything will combine. You might need to scrape down the sides of the bowl a couple of times, so take a sneek peek occasiionally while it's mixing and warming.

Transfer to a biscuit tray lined with grease-proof paper and set in the fridge for about an hour  (times may vary according to the temperature of the coconut oil and your fridge).

    Cut into squares and enjoy.

This is a dense nutritional experience for your stomach, so you wont need to eat much to feel full.
