Tip

This is enough to ice one 30cm cake or 24 cupcakes. Pipes well and holds its shape. Delicious to fill kids celebration cakes. Pairs well with //www.recipecommunity.com.au/baking-sweet-recipes/easy-rich-chocolate-cake/51297

I use Coles Spreadable Cream Cheese and any leftover can be kept in the used container. Trust me, you will not be wanting to throw any away!!

If I use this as a filling for my cake (before I cover in ganache and fondant) do I have to keep the cake in the fridge after?

Cannot fault this recipe. Have made 3x, consistently good, yielding smooth, silky cream that's beautifyl to pipe.

  • I have made this a few times

    Submitted by Taniav on 6. September 2014 - 12:37.

I have made this a few times now.  Never any issues.  The 2nd time I made it I froze half ( I don't like it on too thick!). Frozen half worked kept well, and was just as good as original batch. Thanks.
